We went to IHOP for dinner tonight (because the best time for breakfast food is always) and our server was a guy I knew from the quidditch team. Not extremely well, mind, but quidkids gotta stick together and all that

and when he put our order in I heard him tell the cook, “Yo, this one’s a homie, put some extra filling in those”

and there was indeed extra filling in my crepes.

Hey there Bobcats and other current and future quidkids alike, did you know there is another way to play some quidditch in the summer besides MLQ? Texas Secede League! Our Bobcat proud alumni Beth Peavler created a summer quidditch league to provide players around Texas an affordable, organized option for summer play. There are no tryouts for a roster spot, and you can sign up without any quidditch experience at all! There will be 5 teams based in Austin, College Station, Dallas, Houston and San Marcos, and 4 rounds of games including the championship. Going to see the Cannons play on the last day of Dev Cup was incredible. I've had to take a step back this year but I could not be more proud of my team. It's so nice to get to know the new players, and spend time with my quidkids. They absolutely rocked it and I'm so proud to be able to call myself their grandparent
